Shipping and terms.

UK Shipping

For UK deliveries, all parcels are sent by Royal Mail and the fee will depend on the weight of the parcel.

Your items will be sent within 3-4 working days of receipt of your order and you will receive confirmation via email using the address you provided at checkout.

International Shipping

I try very hard to keep shipping prices to a minimum. International items are sent via Royal Mail International, which normally takes 7 working days but please allow up to 21 working days as services can vary depending on your location.  Sometimes shipping may take longer during the festive season or when during postal strikes.

There may be delays at customs at busy times of year - unfortunately this is outside of my control.

In addition to shipping fees some parcels may be taxed on entry to your country and you may be charged customs clearance/handling fees before you can receive your parcel.

Christmas and holidays delivery timescales can sometimes increase due to customs and the workloads of your local mail services increasing. I am not responsible for these delays.

Refunds or exchanges

In the unlikely event that your pottery arrives damaged, please email me attaching photographs of the broken item and the packaging it arrived in I will replace the item or issue you a refund for you as soon as possible. I may ask you to return the item, in order for you to receive a refund.

If, for any reason your purchase isn’t quite what you’d hoped, you have 14 days from receipt of your order to return your item for a full refund minus shipping costs, providing your order is unused and in perfect condition. You must notify me first by email, if you would like to return an item and I will provide you with a return address. Returns must be sent back in the same packaging and carefully packaged to avoid breakages. Please be advised that return shipping is your responsibility. I advise you to insure your package and send it by a Tracked and Recorded Delivery service so that you are able to claim for the package should the worst happen and it goes missing. I will make sure to notify you as soon as the package arrives back with me and I will issue a full refund for the cost of the item shortly after, though I am unable to refund shipping costs.

If your item arrives back to me in an unsaleable condition (broken or chipped) or go missing in transit I will be unable to issue a refund.

All sales of ‘Seconds’ items (which will be clearly stated as such in title and product descriptions) are final and the above refund policy does not apply.

How do I care for my pottery?

Your pottery is safe to be put in the dishwasher, though I recommend hand washing as it is much kinder to the glaze surface and less likely to get chipped by other pieces in the dishwasher moving around.

Your pottery has been high-fired (unless otherwise stated) and should therefore be suitable for microwave use. However, my ability to test this is limited and advise that you exercise caution. Your pottery is not suitable for oven use, though if you do I recommend not exposing your pottery to rapid temperature changes.

In the case of owning a a piece that involved lighting and using a flame, such a candlestick holder or luminary, please be aware that the pottery must be place on a non-flammable surface and never left unattended. The pottery can get hot to the touch and care should be taken not to touch it during this time.

Classes must be be booked within 12 months of purchase, otherwise they are not valid.

Sustainability and Packing

I work hard to reduce my impact on the planet and do not use any plastic in my packaging . Your pottery will usually be sent to you in a recyclable cardboard box, sealed with recyclable paper packing tape. It will be wrapped in recyclable paper. Occassionally, I may re-use bubble wrap obtained from friends and family, in packaging. Any packing peanuts that i use are made from corn starch and can be put in the compost, or dissolved in water.
