Little Dog Sculpture Barrel Fired
Hand-sculpted dog. Fired for six hours in a barrel firing with wood, sawdust, salt, sugar, copper carbonate and fruit peel to create beautiful smokey and peachy flashing.
The dog’s tail was broken during the firing and has carefully been attached back on and bronze leaf applied at the joins.
These little sculptures are inspired by my own dog, dogs I know, or used to know. A familiar floppy ear here or a long, scrawny leg there - each little sculpture is full of character.
A special little work of art for any nook or cranny in the home or to remind you of a loved, furry friend.
