Large Coral-Carved Flared Bowl
Carved bowl, glazed in turquoise and rusty brown. Each indent is carefully carved by hand. This coral-like carving was one of the first textures I created on my pots, inspired by my time as a Marine Biologist researching tropical corals. Now it also represents the encrusting sea marine life I see in Devon’s rock pools and the rusty earth and dimpled rocks of Dartmoor.
Approximately 28 cm (11 inches) in diameter.
The glazes used are made from scratch with raw ingredients that I carefully, weigh, mix and sieve by hand.
Dishwasher and microwave safe. Hand wash recommended.
