Moss Green Mug II- Gas-fired
Wheel-thrown mug, glazed in layers to create a warm, pale green glaze reminiscent of moss and lichen covered boulders on Dartmoor.
This piece is fired in a gas kiln, in a reduction atmosphere. By controlling the amount of oxygen the kiln receives, unique and highly varied results can be achieved, resulting in distinctive colours and textures and speckles.
However these cups can be used for tea, coffee, or cold drinks. Simply hold the cup by the rim and base ring for boiling hot drinks.
This listing is for one mug only, although more may be available.
Stoneware-fired, dishwasher and microwave safe, although hand-washing recommended.
